It is that time of year again! The 2019 Football Season is around the corner and we have some changes regarding registration and some exciting opportunities this year.
Football (Soccer) Registration
Please ensure that your son has registered for soccer on the school system. He would have received an email outlining the process to register.
We have a new system of registration with ‘playfootball’ this year which is exciting! You no longer will have to log in using your son’s FFA number, you will simply need to create an account and this will be your one stop shop for payment and communication. With this account all you need is an email address and password- you fill in your details and you can have more than one son as part of your profile.

When you begin you will be asked to select the football type, please select “community”. The rest is really straight forward.
If your details are already with ‘Play football’ from last year, it will identify your account which is great! Once registered you will have the option to update your contact details or any other information you need.
Upcoming Events
Committee 2019 and a Cuppa
We will be launching our season soon but I would like to have a cuppa with some nibbles in the Edmund Rice on TUESDAY FEBRUARY 19th at 5.30pm to meet and chat about your thoughts and support for the season ahead. If you have ideas, feedback or just want to be involved, please come along. We will discuss Kanga cup and other pre-season opportunities that will be coming up this year.
We will also be calling out for interest in Committee roles for 2019. This year, we are revamping and adding roles! Please let me know if you are interested in the following roles – please note that commitment/details will be discussed on February 19th and made to suit what you are able to do. We are super keen for parent involvement! Thank you if you have already expressed an eagerness to be involved, that’s fantastic!

Training
Pre-season training will commence from Week 6 of term depending on the registration of all players before this point. Once we have registrations we will be able to assign teams, coaches, areas to train and kit.
Uniform
Jerseys are provided by the College but your son will require white shorts and our football socks available at the uniform shop. Shin pads are also a must for playing

- Meet and Greet, Committee and more: Tuesday 19th February. 5.30pm
- MARSEC: Hosted by Marist, Sunday 28th April
- FIXTURES: Released from Capital Football, 18th April
- SEASON KICK OFF: Round 1, let the force be with us… May the 4th
- KANGA CUP: Nominations due 13th May
- Other Pre-season matches: TBA
