The College was proud to announce and recognise the Semester One Gold Awards for academic and application excellence at the recent College Assembly. The Gold Awards recognise the exceptional academic achievements and outstanding application to studies that students have displayed in Semester 1 2020. Recipients of a Gold Award have a combined Effort Grade and Academic Grade of 9.5 out of 10 meaning they have achieved an A grade for both Effort and Academic achievement in the majority of their subjects. Considering the challenges of Semester 1 these students have demonstrated excellent focus, resilience and flexibility and should be extremely proud of their achievement.
During the presentation of certificates College Vice-Captain- Academic, Tyler Greenhalgh encouraged all students to reflect on their Semester 1 achievement, make a goal to improve one aspect of their studies and take action towards achieving it. Hopefully this challenge transfers into positive results for those willing to put in the effort.
The recipients of Silver and Bronze Awards, who have also demonstrated excellent commitment to their studies, will be presented certificates during House Assemblies and should also be extremely proud of their efforts.
The following students are congratulated on receiving Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards:
