On Friday 9 November our Year 10 Youth Ministry Team facilitated Year 4 and Year 5 Retreats for our Junior School students. The themes of the retreats were “Being an Eddies Boy” and “Resilience”. The Junior School students enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the older students and the retreats provided a fantastic opportunity of peer-to-peer ministry which is key to young people’s faith formation. A big thank you to our Year 10 boys who ably led our Junior School boys through an engaging program and truly modeled what it is to be an ‘Eddie’s boy!’. Thank you also to Mr Zinkel who assisted the Year 10 boys craft and hone their skills in preparation to present to their younger peers.
