It seems like Founders day Mass on Friday the 4th of May was a long time ago though it has only been 3 weeks. We were lucky enough to have Br Matt visit us from Brisbane and to hand out awards and participate in Mass. On the Saturday he visited the Rugby and watched St Edmunds play Daramalan on Owens oval.
As he was walking around over the two days he handed out a prayer card to all he met. This encapsulates to a certain extent a lesson that he has learnt over his 75 years as a Christian Brother , that is to “Be at Peace”. It is a reminder to us all to let go of all fear that we have and embrace each day with faith, hope and love.
