Captains Corner – Grand Final Weekend!

In the final week of Term 3 the school is not slowing down, if anything this week is one of the busiest. With assignments all being due around this time it is important that the boys keep working hard in classroom and putting in the effort. Over the past few weeks all the boys would have been swamped with work and assessment, finishing off these busy times is important, and it is great that all the boys have gotten through the first uninterrupted term this year.

Speaking of busy times the rugby season is coming to a close this week with teams playing in grand finals. With teams from a variety of different age groups playing it is an exciting week coming up, with the weekend capped off with the First XV playing in the grand final on Saturday afternoon. The First XV is looking to continue their undefeated season and finish off the season as undefeated premiers, it has been a great season so far for the team and will be culminated in a fitting finish to a lot of boys rugby careers at the school.

Around the school the soccer teams are doing well with the 16 blues continuing a great season and the first 5 basketball had a tough loss on the weekend but are having a good season and have been having a good run of wins in the past few weeks. With summer sports coming around soon get involved and talk to the person you need to so you can be involved in the co-curricular.

With the grand finals this weekend make sure you are aware of the restrictions at the game.

Hope everyone has a great week and a safe holidays.
