Captain’s Corner – Rice takes out the Athletics Carnival

Fear travels through the corridor’s as Rice again takes out the Athletics Carnival, rising to the top of the leader board.

The St Edmund’s College Junior and High School Athletics Carnival took place on Thursday and Friday of week 8. Across the High School, the students showed great enthusiasm in their house themes and in all activity’s, they participated in. The Carnival is a great day for students to not only grow friendships with their peers outside of the classroom but to also build the house and school pride. Throughout students put their best foot forward earning house points to a close-fitting leader board, the students were able to achieve points through participation and enthusiasm in activities, dance battles and sing along and by showing positive house spirit. A special congratulations to Rice house lead by Sam Daniher (Rice House Captain) for winning the Athletics Carnival placing them in a dominant position in the Therese Kitney House Shield.

As of 1/4/19, the Therese Kitney House Shield tally stands as:

Clancy            250
