As the 2018 Academic Year ends, the Teaching and Learning team at St Edmund’s College wishes you and your family a safe and happy holiday season. We thank you for the continued support in your son’s education and we look forward to all that 2019 will bring. We would like to draw your attention to a few important notices that will make the start of 2019 a smooth transition for your son:
- Ensure that your son engages in some light reading over the holiday period
- Consult the stationery lists that will be made available to ensure your son starts 2019 well prepared
- Discuss your son’s report with him and identify aspects of his education that needs attention
- Setting some goals for the 2019 academic year will ensure your son commits to working hard to achieve these goals.
We look forward to celebrating teaching and learning awards on December 11 at 10:45 am in the Br R J Wallace Hall. All prize-winners are reminded to present themselves in the quadrangle at 10:15 am. Year 10 certificates will be available for collection from the front office on the 11th. Please be reminded that students have to sign for their certificates or need to give a signed permission note if they cannot collect it in person.
