Getting ready to kick off!
We have a busy start to the pre-season ahead. In our football competitions, we have the Junior league and miniroos. Miniroos are our U10 and U11 boys while our Junior League are U12 to Opens.
Training will commence in week 6 this term (the week commencing March 9th) which will be perfect timing as we are hosting the annual MARSEC competition. Each year, we play a series of matches against Marist College. This is a great pre-season opportunity for both schools. This will occur on SUNDAY 29th March on home ground. The timing is yet to be confirmed.
This year, we also have a weekend of grading. This is being hosted by Capital Football and will be a gala day format. Please see details in the table below.

Once your son has nominated to join football at St Edmund’s College, you will receive an email from me with registration information. Please contact me if you wish to gain further information
Our age groups for football will be in line with all other co-curricular programs at St Edmund’s College. The policy of the school is that the boys play in the age group which matches the age in which they are turning in that calendar year. This is to ensure that we have teams in each age group to allow full access to the game for all boys. It also means that we are able to sustain team numbers into 2021.
Please see below for the age groups
|Birth year||Football team|
|2010 and below||U10|
*Opens teams can have players who are playing up, this will be determined by grading
