Trapping the Ball and our Victories
This weekend saw mixed results across the club- with some great wins, close ties and near misses, the boys have remained loyal to their teams when times get tough. As mentioned in previous vortex publications, injury and sickness have hit every team. With many playing with the minimum or without subs, it really challenges the boys to go the next level- trapping the ball and securing a victory- even if it is only small.
I echo the words I wrote last week, “Thank you all families and boys who have committed to their team this season- I know it has not always been easy but your support has been invaluable. With only a few rounds to go, let’s work together to get our boys on the field and supporting their peers.” The results of the weekend are a reflection of the assistance teams have given each other and I thank you and your son for the commitment and eagerness to jump in and play another game, another side or another location. We are a community who wants to help one another.

All teams are required to arrive before game time as communicated by team managers. Teams are also required to assist with field set up and pack up for HOME games. Your assistance is very much appreciated!
If your son is unable to attend a game or training, please notify your manager as soon as possible.
