We had the wind beneath our wings…
What a great weekend of Football! With a massive home round, our boys faced the cold and the wind with gusto! As the end of season appears around the corner- one weekend away in fact- our boys still have fight left in them. With skills and formation clearly developed over the season, Saturday’s games were another opportunity to let these shine . From the sideline during the season, it is always a joy to see how much the boys have developed in their ability to work together, discover and master their own strengths and talents. Let’s maintain that energy in our final game of the season, September 14th.
Most teams have one more round to go, however, our U18s team are in the semi-finals this coming weekend so their season may not be over yet. A massive congratulations to our U18s team for making it through to the semi finals again this year. I encourage all boys, families and staff in the football community to head down to Calwell playing fields at 3.10pm on Saturday to cheer our seniors on.
