Forging Friendships and having fun under the sun and in the water

The 2022 school year hasn’t allowed for many scheduled events such as camps and carnivals to take place. The annual Year 7 camp was one such event that was unable to happen this year.  In place of the camp on Friday the 4th of March, the Year 7 students participated in a fun day held at Civic pool. The feeling of excitement could be sensed amongst the boys with everyone ready to join in and give it their best.

The fun day was an opportunity for all the students to build new friendships and interact with each other outside of the classroom.

Congratulations to Haydon House for being the winning house on the day. Haydon currently stands on top of the house points total for this year. It was incredible to see the amazing attitude and dedication every boy applied on the day. The day truly encapsulated what it means to be an ‘Eddies Boy’ with values such as comradery, courtesy, and pride on display.

On behalf of the students, I would also like to extend an incredibly big thank you to the staff who made the entire day possible, without them events like this simply wouldn’t be possible.
