Br Matt McKeon Spirit & Service Award (Instagram Post (45))
Honouring Faith and Selfless Service
Br Matt McKeon (1925- 2025), a cherished member of the St Edmund’s College community for over two decades, epitomised the values and traditions of the Christian Brothers. As a spiritual cornerstone of the College, his unwavering commitment to faith, service and community inspires us today. In honour of his memory, the Br Matt McKeon Spirit and Service Awards recognise individuals who exemplify exceptional dedication to St Edmund’s College and/or the broader community through sustained, selfless service, guided by our Touchstones and Catholic tradition.
Each category highlights individuals who make a meaningful impact—whether as an Old Boy, a current student, or a staff/community member. To submit a nomination, please ensure it aligns with the specific selection criteria for each category:
- Old Boy Award – Recognising a former student who continues to live out the College’s mission in faith, service, and integrity.
- Current Student Award – Honouring a student who leads by example, demonstrating faith, leadership, and service.
- Staff and Community Member Award – Acknowledging those whose leadership and service enrich the College and wider community.
Please refer to the detailed selection criteria in the areas of the form, to ensure your nomination reflects the nominee’s alignment with our values. You do not have to nominate someone in each category but we do ask that you provide as much information as possible.
