Graduation Day and Award Winners 2018

Last Friday 30 November, the Year 12 Class of 2018 graduated from St Edmund’s College. The Graduation day is a momentous event with three unique celebrations, showcasing the students and the impact they have had on the College.

The day began with a mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral before the students and their parents returned to the College for the Academic Assembly where we acknowledged their achievements.

The day ended with the Graduation Dinner held at the Southern Cross club. During the dinner, the College presents a number of major awards that cover a variety of areas of school life. The worthy recipients of these awards were:

The Blue and White Award (chosen by the Graduating class and presented to the student that captures the essence of an “Eddies Boy”) – Zane Hogan

The Denyse Gibbs Award (presented to a member of the Graduating class to a student that has made consistent, sustained and conspicuous effort in their senior years) – Remy Tando

The Byrne Award (presented for the demonstration of personal integrity and initiative in the College and community) – Noah Wright
