Heritage Day / Reunion Day

Community is a group of people that care about each other and feel they belong together

The heritage round on Saturday began with the Old boy’s mass, which was a true and authentic celebration of community and the importance of belonging to the St Edmund’s family. The mass was beautifully celebrated by Bishop Pat Power an old boy of the College whose deep affection for Eddies was very evident. The readings at mass highlighted the message of Blessed Edmund Rice of justice and service to others, which all who walk through the doors of St Edmund’s are challenged to live out in daily life.

We are the “blue, white and gold” proudly unfurled – men of faith, vision, gentleness and compassion. Help us to listen with our eyes and to hear with our hearts and always be men of service to others.

“In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
he will not falter or be discouraged
till he establishes justice on earth.” Isiah
