Eddies Dashboard – Coming Soon!
One of the major IT projects for the College this year has been to create a new platform to help streamline communication channels between home and school. The IT team has created a new Eddies dashboard to serve as a landing page for parents and students.
Eddies Dashboard for Parents
Parents can log into the dashboard to access information relevant to their sons. Parents can use the dashboard to:
- Check timetables
- View assessment, excursion and whole school calendars
- Explain absences
- See a list of all of recent emails sent to them from the College
- See a list of their son’s teachers and contact details
- Check their son’s Grade Point Average (GPA) and Effort Point Average (EPA)
- View a tally of positive pastoral records that have been given to their son.
The dashboard also provides easy access to Canvas and the Parent Portal. Parents will receive an email early next week with information about how to log into the dashboard.
Eddies Dashboard for Students
Students can log into the dashboard to:
- Check their timetable and see if they have a room change for a lesson
- View assessment, excursion and whole school calendars
- Read the daily notices
- Check their GPA and EPA
- Monitor how many positive pastoral records they have received
- Check which house currently has the most house points
- Easily access their school email and Canvas
Students will be given details about how to access the dashboard later this week.
RoboCup Challenge
Congratulations to Rikai Murray, Lachlan Vearing and Allen Ferguson for their fantastic efforts in this Year’s RoboCup Challenge. The students took out second place in the Soccer Challenge, winning 4 of their 5 games. The students showed excellent problem–solving skills and initiative throughout the competition.
