Junior School News: Week 2, Term 2, 2021

We look forward to our Open Day this Saturday which will occur between 11am – 2pm. Thank you to all of the students who have indicated they would like to assist on the day and thank you to their parents/guardians who have made arrangements for this to occur. I would like to thank the students who assisted with the Queanbeyan RSL sub-branch ANZAC Day service on Sunday. Douglas and Andre L’Aimable, Thomas and William Walsh, Archie Manwaring and Lucas Regan all assisted, along with some senior students. It was a lovely service and it was nice to see some other St Edmund’s students and families in attendance.

On Saturday Canberra Grammar hosted some pre-season rugby matches for all of our Junior teams, along with Grammar and Marist. It was a great day for our students, with some great results and even better sportsmanship. I would like to thank Canberra Grammar for hosting this event and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, enjoying game time with their respective teams.
