Junior School News: Week 4 Term 4, 2021

This week we welcomed our Year 6 students back to Junior School. It was wonderful to see them and staff were excited to have some life in the school once more. We spent some time reassuring the students that any feelings they have about returning to school are normal and we encouraged all of them to look out for each other and feel confident to express how they were feeling. For some, it was straight back into the swing of things. For others, it might take a little longer and that is okay. We very much look forward to having Year 4 and Year 5 students join us next week.

Uniform – Please note the uniform shop will be busy this term with new families and bookings for fitting. Families wanting to purchase uniforms will need to order this term. Items will then have plenty of time to arrive before the beginning of Term 1, 2022. Please don’t leave ordering until next year. Opening hours are displayed on the school website.

Hats – Just a reminder that all Junior School students need to have a hat for PE classes and also for recess and lunch. As with all clothing, please ensure your son’s hat is clearly marked with his name.

Year 4 Alternate Camp Program – Please note Mr Rutter and Mr Di Fronzo will organise a fun and engaging program for our Year 4 students later this term in lieu of camp.

Christmas Concert – please note that it is unlikely that we will be able to run the Christmas Concert this year due to restrictions in light of Covid-19. We look forward to hopefully bringing this great event back in 2022.
