Junior School News: Week 8 Term 3, 2021

Thank you to all the students who submitted Book Week Parade videos last week. The virtual parade was great to see and well done to all involved. It is always great to see boys celebrating literature and it was excellent that we could still do this despite the lockdown.

Online learning will continue now until the end of Term 3. We will continue to adapt our approach to ensure the work can be as engaging as possible under the circumstances. There will be times over the next few weeks where motivation will fluctuate, which is understandable.

Cricket Trials Postponed – Please note that cricket trials have been postponed until further notice.

Father’s Day – Father’s Day will look a little different for Dads this year. I hope all of the fathers and grandfathers in our community have a relaxed and enjoyable day on Sunday. The college will release a Father’s Day reflection on Sunday via social media channels that you are encouraged to view. We had numerous lovely video messages from a Father’s Day activity back in Week 6. Some of these were able to be included in this post but many were not due to time constraints. We will find a way to share these with you so Dads can see how much they mean to the boys of St Edmund’s Junior School.
