Junior School News: Week 9, Term 1, 2018

It was wonderful to hear the many stories from the boys about their Easter weekends. I trust that it was an enjoyable time with family and a chance to celebrate together. This week we have had our ‘One Week of Mission’ with various activities. Last Thursday Junior School participated in a liturgy in the hall. This week we have enjoyed days of prayer, a mufti day to raise money for Caritas and a student versus staff soccer match.

Chess Club

The Junior School Chess Club is up & running and some fun matches have been played. Some boys are learning as they go. Feel free to join the club each Friday in the Junior School library between 3:30pm & 4.30pm.

In Japanese lessons for Year 6, the students have been learning about the seasons in Japan. To celebrate, a cherry blossom party was held, with the boys making rice balls and participating in other cool activities.
