Congratulations to Lewis Marshall (Year 6, Mulrooney) who competed in the IFMA Muay Thai Youth World Championships from 4 to 9 August in Bangkok, Thailand. His age and weight division was 8 athletes strong.
Lewis came away with a bronze medal after winning his first fight against Japan and losing to Russia in the semifinals.
Lewis was extremely excited to represent Australia at the championships and he will be training hard to return to the Muay Thai Australia National Championships. He would love the chance to represent Australia again and is eager to do better in 2019!
