Students in World of Money have been challenged this semester to start their own business with just $20. This Friday, students will be selling their products at Market Day. Some of the items on offer are:
Snags not drags, that is right, an important health announcement and a sausage sizzle in one stall. Sausages $2.50 each or 2 sausages for $4. Drinks are also on offer.
Dutchies Pancakes, serving the best pancakes in town with delicious toppings outside the Art rooms this market day, 4 pikelets are $2, two toppings for 50c, ice-cream for $1.
Classic Catch – think you can catch a ball flying out of a bowling machine? Have a go to win great prizes.
Talkie Road, also known as Rocky road only $2 per slice.
Like games? Try Splash for Cash. Customers shoot a ping pong ball from one side of the table and try and get it into the cups. Try and double your money!
Soda-licious is the best store to go for a cheap refreshing soft drink can from $2.
Dollar Bakery – cookies, brownies and donut balls – everything $1
Not KFC – not KFC popcorn chicken and chips $5
Tornado Potato – a potato on a stick fried to perfection $4 each or make it a meal and add a drink for $5.
Take a Chill Drink Parlour can take you back to the 1950’s with the experience of a traditional drink parlour with thick shakes, creaming sodas, spiders and oreo fudge. Prices range from $2-$4.
Hamburgers – Beef and Bacon, Classic or Cheeseburger. Prices range from $3.50-$5
Pops n Chocs – 1 cup of popcorn $1.50, add a topping for 50c. Lucky draw 50c
