Mother’s Day Mass 2018

“Mother’s Day is that one day when we demonstrate the most love for our mothers, and make them feel like a Queen.” – Sheila Sage

On Friday 11th May, in the Junior School, there were many mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers who felt like a queen. The love the boys expressed to the very special women in their lives was very heartfelt and real. Fr Chris Eaton, our celebrant, spoke about the sacrifices mother’s make for their children and reminded the boys to say thank you for things that are done for them each and every day.

Personally, I would like to thank Mr Joe Zavone and Mr David Kelly for their support and Mr Michael Monagle for his assistance in running this event. The delicious morning tea was supplied by Pam and her team of canteen ladies and I am always amazed at the ease that they seem to be able to produce such delicious food. To Ms Linda James a huge thanks for taking such great photos and to the very talented father/son music duo in Sean and Israel Gautusa. An extra special thank you to all the mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers for attending the mass and morning tea, your support is very much appreciated.

I hope all mothers on Sunday felt extra special and were all treated like a queen.
