Congratulations to old boy Jacob Abel (graduated in 2015) who was a joint winner of the MacDougall Medal at an end of year Canberra premier rugby function.
Jacob was the leader of a rejuvenated Easts side who ended a 1,106-day losing streak in the opening game of the season just finished.
Eddies parent Peter Chapman also took home an award, winning Volunteer of the Year.
