We cooked up a storm on Saturday on site as the hungry voters from the region came through the doors of our gym. Mr Trent Masters, Ms Leigh Southwell and Ms Mary-Jane McLeod arranged a number of sausages, steaks, bacon and eggs as part of a combined fundraiser for our boys going on the Darwin/Tiwi and Solomon Islands immersion tours. What a hit they were! Many thanks to all the boys who assisted as well – both those attending the tours as well as members of the Youth Ministry team. It was a busy day for co-curricular so it was fantastic to have some of the boys jump in and help support us on the day.
We are looking forward to more fundraising opportunities in support of our immersion tours. We value the relationship with the Darwin and Tiwi communities and are excited for our first immersion tour to the Solomon Islands this year!
