In 2019 the St Edmund’s Snow Sports group are planning to travel to Perisher Ski Resort for day trips on a number of Sundays throughout terms 2 and 3. These Snow Sports day trips leave from the College at 6am and return to the college at approximately 6.30-7.00pm. Places on the bus for the Sunday Day Trips come at a cost of $15 per person which covers transport and park entry. All other costs such as equipment hire, lift passes and meals are not included. The following list of dates are the proposed dates for the St Edmund’s Snow Sports Sunday day trips in 2019;
– 23rd of June – Sunday of week 8, term 2
– 11th August – Sunday of week 3, term 3
– 25th August – Sunday of week 5, term 3
– 9th September – Sunday of week 7, term 3
Initially, places on these Sunday day trips will be open to students registered in the St Edmund’s Snow Sports Group. However, places will be open to all St Edmund’s students two weeks prior to any of the scheduled Sunday Day Trips. There are often spaces available for family members as well that wish to travel to the snow with their sons.
Please note that the day trips are set up for skiers and snowboarders with prior experience on the snow. Should students be trying skiing or snowboarding for the first time an adult companion is required to travel with the student. An adult companion is also required to travel with any student from years 4-6.
