Please take note of some staffing changes for the rest of term 1, commencing 19 March:
- Mr John Obermeier will step in for Ms Geoghegan’s Senior Business classes. Mr Obermeier is currently also teaching Senior Economics and is looking forward to taking the students through the engaging world of Marketing.
- Mr Joe Langtry will pick up a number of classes in the High school including Year 10 History, Year 8 Economics and Mathematics as well as Year 11 Mathematics. Mr Langtry has been working with us as a relief teacher and we would like to welcome him on board for the rest of the term.
The rest of term 1 will be disrupted by a number of public holidays and students are encouraged to stay focused. They are reminded that Application grades will be posted on Canvas at the end of week 9 and should be mindful of outcomes they did not address successfully in terms of their behaviour. At the end of term 1 students will receive their interim reports with constructive feedback on their achievements as well as some guidance for improvement. It is very helpful when parents discuss reports with their children and support them in acting on recommendations from their teachers. Starting term 2 with some realistic goals to make improvements to their performance is highly recommended.
