In the VET space of the college Year 11 students undertaking the new Fitness in Sport course are not only busy in the classroom learning about Coaching Principles, Sport, Recreation and Fitness Laws and Legislation, but also how to run a Group Fitness Session, as part of the Certificate III in Fitness. Students have been learning and experiencing first hand all about High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), looking at Circuit Training with and without equipment, TABATA Training and EMOMs (Every Minute on the Minute).

For students looking at moving into a trade either as an ASBA from year 10 and until the end of Year 12, just a reminder that you are required to obtain the following qualifications prior to commencing work and any Work Experience:
For all trades:
- CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
- 10675NAT – Asbestos Awareness
For Electrical and Plumbing only:
- 10852NAT – Course in Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials
