Writing assistance for your son with Writer’s Toolbox

Writer’s Toolbox (WT) is an educational writing programme powered by patented AI. It is designed to help students master writing—without doing the work for them—Writer’s Toolbox gives real-time, individualised feedback at scale: in every topic, for every student, at their most teachable moments. This program is used in Years 4-8.

We’re excited to share our intensive focus on improving writing skills across the Junior and High School through daily use of Writer’s Toolbox (WT). This innovative platform teaches students diverse sentence structures and writing techniques, providing immediate feedback to help them develop their craft.

Every student has personalized Learning Journey modules that guide them through various sentence and paragraph styles. The interactive nature of WT means your son can practice and refine his writing skills at any time – making it an excellent option for continued learning even when homework isn’t assigned. Below is an example of what a Learning Journey looks like in WT.

The impact has been remarkable: in just three weeks, our students have collectively written an impressive 129,000 words! This demonstrates their growing engagement with writing and commitment to improving their communication skills. This also gives teachers real time data to enhance our understanding of how our students are performing. An example of the data (this is our data after a 3 week period) that can be collected is below.

We encourage you to support this initiative by reminding your son to engage with his Writer’s Toolbox modules regularly. This consistent practice is key to developing the strong writing foundation essential for academic success across all subjects.
