In week 5, Year 7 and 8 participated in their annual retreat day. The Year 7 theme was “Knowing God and his belief in you”. The year 8 theme was “Resilience- building your core strength”. It was fantastic to see our students getting to know each other through participating in a wide range of activities. The boys played problem solving games in teams, heard from guest speakers about their life, participated in Mass and shared and reflected on their own experiences thus far. A huge thankyou to the SEC staff who assisted with the days. These activities are so important for the boys to get to know each other and to learn to work together. The more time the students spend together the more they realise each other’s unique abilities and strengths. At St Edmund’s we provide and encourage an environment and space for all in our community to grow in their faith. Christus Lux Mea!
