Vocational Education

At St Edmund’s College, we understand that there are many pathways to a successful future for young men.  In Year 10, 11 & 12 we offer a significant VET Program to support the skills, learning and development of our students. These courses run in conjunction with a strong academic program.

The College has the largest number of students in Canberra that are involved in an Australian School Based Apprenticeship (ASBA). The areas that students can be studied in an ASBA could include, but are not restricted to; Carpentry, Childcare, Plumbing, Landscaping, Business, Information Technology, Automotive, Diesel Mechanics and Electrical.

St Edmund’s is equipped with a variety of resources that our students can take advantage of including: a commercial kitchen, fully equipped metal and wood workshops, state of the art design facility and a fully operational strength and conditioning centre.

Currently, we offer the following VET courses alongside a significant academic program for senior students.
