Full STEAM Ahead with the Eddies Chariot Race
Last week our Junior School students participated in a Chariot race as part of the College’s Junior STEAM Co-curricular program. Students have been preparing for the race for most of this year as part of their weekly STEAM activities. Students spent several weeks working in groups to design and create a chariot that could be pulled by a Sphero. They then spent time learning how to program Spheros to complete a range of different challenges. Lastly, they learned how to use digital editing platforms such as Photoshop and Paint to create posters promoting the Chariot Race. The students showed outstanding problem-solving and teamwork skills as part of this project.
