Teaching and Learning: Bloom’s Literature

Bloom’s Literature

Parents and students may not always be aware of the many resources available to them. One high quality resource that we subscribe to for students is the ‘Facts on File Infobase’ which is accessible via the Library Canvas page. ‘Bloom’s Literature’ is one of the ‘infobases’ specifically focused on English skills and literary study.  This is a curated space for articles, videos and other tools for students. Within this resource students can search by topic or text and feel confident that they are looking at authoritative sources.

Bloom’s Literature provides both academic articles as well as more general curriculum tools. It can be useful in supporting students who may be struggling with a text or topic, as well as providing high level criticism for students who are ready to be exposed to examples of advanced academic thinking and writing. I highly recommend that students explore and take full advantage of this resource.
