Year 8 Art Excursion

The Year 8 Art class recently visited the Ancient Egypt Exhibition at the National Museum of Australia, immersing themselves in the rich history and culture of this ancient civilization. The students explored a wide range of art and artifacts, from stunning statues to intricate jewelry, gaining a deeper understanding of the beliefs and practices of the ancient Egyptians. The opportunity to witness these treasures in person left many students in awe, sparking curiosity and admiration for this remarkable period in history. The experience was both educational and inspiring, with students returning home with a newfound appreciation for the wonders of Ancient Egypt. A massive thank you goes out to Mrs. Rasmussen, whose dedication and assistance made this unforgettable excursion possible.
