We had two Eddies teams represent the College at the Da Vinci Decathlon – an academic challenge day – on Wednesday 30 May. They join over 50 other teams from around Canberra.
The two teams – one from Year 5 and one from Year 6, battled it out across different domains. A special mention must go to our Year 5 team which recorded an incredible 1st in Ideation (Philosophy) and 3rd in Cartography (Map Reading). This is the first time in history a St Edmund’s team has won a category outright and the boys were absolutely over the moon to receive their certificate on stage in front of over 600 students and parents.
Well done to both teams for their efforts and concentration throughout the day.
