We welcomed the warmer weather and the opportunity to come back after a cold weekend last week. What a round! Our games were close and our boys battled the opposition well. The comradery on the field was absolutely commendable. It is so important that we support our boys and that we encourage them to support each other. Each team has ha d its battles with numbers as the winter season and injury seem to be common place across each age group but perseverance will take us through. With not many rounds to go, we encourage our boys to hold their heads up high and run along side their mates.
This weekend we had many highlights! Including a goal from the half way mark, a goalie who defended out of his box, while a team mate held the fort, some brilliant headers, goals from the corner, penalty kicks, and passing & positioning that was second to none. When the sun shines, we do too.
