It’s a Wrap!

The end of the year is coming closer day by day and students are excitedly looking forward to the summer holidays, working on their last assignments and preparing for their end of year exams and tests.  Our Year 12 students are busy preparing for their Graduation Mass and Dinner and are coming to the end of their time at Eddies.

Some Year 12 Tertiary students have already received University offers and others will get their offers when ATAR’s are released in January.

Semester 2 has seen a strong uptake of Year 12 Accredited students moving into Full-time apprenticeships and our Australian School Based Apprenticeship boys transitioning from Part-time employment to Full-time status as mentioned below.

For students seeking a career in a trade, remember it’s a requirement that a student has both their White Card and Asbestos Card qualifications prior to entering a construction site, even if it’s for Work Experience, this qualification would be highly beneficial for students in Years 9 to 12. Master Builders Fyshwick are now offering a flexible option through online delivery for students to take advantage of, the student price for each qualification is $100.
