Junior School News: Week 10, Term 3, 2018

As we near the end of Term 3 we can reflect on all the achievements, events, activities, learning experiences and enjoyment from our first three terms of school for 2018. I must say a huge congratulations to the Junior School students who have accepted the challenge to make this school such a great place to be. They are building a wonderful spirit and developing their character in a pleasing fashion. Our Term 3 reports are progress reports with commendations and recommendations regarding your son’s learning. These reports will be available online later this week. Please use these reports to discuss learning goals with your son and to help guide discussions with your son’s teacher at parent/teacher interviews (held at the beginning of each term). If you have trouble accessing your son’s Term 3 report, please refer to the email sent out on Thursday or Friday this week. It will contain login details and provide IT support contacts if required.

Thank you to Mrs Ellem who organised a brilliant assembly last week. It is always nice to acknowledge the achievements of our students and celebrate as a community.

Just a reminder that Homework club is not running this week and will recommence in Week 2 of Term 4.

All the best for those families going away over the break. For those staying close to home…hopefully we can enjoy some nice weather.

David Kelly (Head of Junior School)
