Junior School News: Week 5, Term 2, 2018

I hope all of our Junior School families enjoyed their first Reconciliation Day public holiday. On Tuesday, our students returned, refreshed and ready to tackle a demanding few weeks of learning, assessment and study. Whilst our high school students will begin formal exams soon, our Junior School assessment over this period is more varied. This is a timely reminder that the school runs a homework club on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Junior School library for any boys needing some time to complete their homework or assignments. Ms Cusack just requires 24 hours’ notice via email: bcusack@stedmunds.act.edu.au

Tomorrow we tackle the College Walkathon which promises to be a wonderful community event. Thank you to those boys who have been steadily raising funds for the school and to the boys that complete the course. Junior School will complete an abbreviated course from school down to the lake and back. Students may wear casual clothes to this event.

Good luck to our Year 5/6 Matt Giteau Cup rugby team who will play some teams from around NSW at GIO Stadium on Sunday afternoon prior to the Brumbies match. Thank you to Mr Fox for organising and good luck to the team.
