Senior students experience real life courtroom drama

On Wednesday 15 August our Senior Legal Studies class had the opportunity to observe courtroom proceedings and contextualise their learning in areas such as criminal law, advocacy and civil procedures. This provides valuable insights into, and experience of, the criminal justice system in action.

College Old boy, Michael Edwards (1975), who is the registrar of the Magistrates Court provided students with firsthand insights into procedures and proceedings, as well as sharing some of his own personal experiences in the Attorney General’s office, working throughout the Pacific Islands and in Australia.
