On Monday 17 September, students were fortunate to participate in the Australian Citizenship Day Youth Forum at the Museum of Australian Democracy. Students from varying year groups debated the relevance of the Australian citizenship pledge, articulated its significance and meaning to modern Australia. Additionally, boys recommended ways that young Australians can be active citizens in the 21st Century.
A special thank you to Mr Sorrentino and the Social Science Department for initiating the day and enabling this opportunity for our students to be possible.
