Pre-season Trials
Sessions will be held after school in the St Edmund’s College Gymnasium on McMillan Crescent. Sessions will run for approximately 1 hour for each age group. Please arrive before the session in order to sign on before the start. Approximate times for each age group are listed below:

| Thursday 29 March: 5.30pm – 6.30pm | U16 | 2003, 2004 |
Age Groups
The age group your son will play in must be a maximum of 2 years above your son’s current age. If a player wishes to play outside of their appropriate age group, parents or guardians will need to contact Mr David Mead on either 02 6239 0629 or basketball@stedmunds.act.edu.au to request an exemption. There may be instances where player movements cannot be accommodated or may need to occur between age groups in order to field sufficient players in teams. Any concerns with these movements are to be advised as soon as possible. Age groups for the upcoming 2016/2017 seasons are as follows:
- Under 12 – boys born in 2007 and 2008.
- Under 14 – boys born in 2005 and 2006
- Under 16 – boys born in 2003 and 2004
- Under 19 – boys born in 2000, 2001 and 2002
