As College Captain for 2021 I am looking forward to what the future holds for our school and community. Though as this year begins its conclusion, I would like to thank this year’s College and House leadership team for their strong positive influence and impact they have had upon the College.
In particular, College captains Sam Gibson, Patrick McFarlane, Corey Davis and Tyler Greenhalgh as both individuals and a team have been great leaders and people within our community, demonstrating through example what it means to be an Eddies boy and how to achieve the most out of our opportunities. They have accomplished this in all areas of College life through their activity and success on the sporting field, in academics and their strong commitment to community service within the inner and broader community over the past years. As an Eddies boy and future leader, I can say without a doubt that the genuine actions and strong qualities of confidence, kindness, generosity and commitment (to name a few) that these men embody will help guide myself, the 2021 leadership team and the young men of the College to achieve our best.
Now directly speaking to you men, it will be an honour to succeed you and I, as well as the future College and House captains look forward to continuing your work and would like to thank you and the graduating class of 2020 and wish you all the best for the future.
