We are blessed to have two new Chaplains and welcome Father Dan Benedetti and Father Rem to our College Community. They come to us from the Missionaries of God’s Love community and have already started having a positive impact through leading out weekly Thursday Mass and attending our Year 11 Retreat in week one of this term. Father Dan has extensive experience working with St Edmund’s as he was College Chaplain at St John’s College a school that we visit each year with our annual Mission trip. He has considerable experience working with our Senior Youth Ministry team in the past in running retreats for schools in indigenous communities and look forward to having in share his wisdom and expertise with our boys.
Deacon Vince Barclay is another valuable member of our faith community and has assisted our Chaplains with Mass over the last two years which we are most appreciative of. Vince works at St Clare’s College and he is one of many connections that we have with St Clare’s that helps strengthen our relationship between the communities.
We wish Father David Lemewu all the best with his new mission in Flores Indonesia!
