On the 6th of August, a collection of our year 9 and 10 boys attended the Shine retreat which is an introduction to Youth Ministry and this year was hosted at Marist. It was great to see our boys join with a total of approximately 450 young people who are open to learning more about their faith and to hear from others about their experiences. The participants selected their preferred seminars which ranged from public speaking, music ministry and developing their testimony amongst others. It was great to see our boys having fun and getting to know other students from some of our fellow Catholic schools. These opportunities are priceless as these young men grow in their understanding of who God is for them and why he plays such a significant part in theirs.
