Years 8 and 9 Combined College Disco

In the September holidays three staff members along with 6 Year 11 students will travel to India as part of the annual St Edmund’s College Indian Immersion Trip. As the India Immersion trip enters its ninth year, the main aim of the trip is to reconnect and strengthen the strong bond we have with schools, organisations and individuals in various parts of the country.

Along with this, the College provides financial assistance in order to help these schools and organisations grow, prosper and to provide relief to people in great need.

The main fundraiser for the 2018 India Immersion trip is the Years 8 and 9 Combined College Disco. On Thursday 6 September students from both St Edmund’s and St Clare’s College are invited to attend this event to raise much-needed funds to take to India. All students have been spoken to about this event and an explanation of where the money goes was provided.

Tickets can be purchased through the following link https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/indian-immersion-disco-tickets-48546702494 with all money raised directly going to the schools and organisations that we visit. There are three ticket options with all tickets providing entrance into the disco, a pizza dinner and a drink.

This is a great opportunity to spend a night with friends from both St Edmund’s and St Clare’s whilst supporting an incredible and life-changing experience.

If you have any questions regarding the Disco or purchasing tickets please do not hesitate to contact myself at jrichardson@stedmunds.act.edu.au

Thank you in advance for your support in this extremely worthwhile and important College initiative.
