The Year 10 Dance is part of our annual Student Wellbeing and Pastoral Care Program at the College and is always a wonderfully successful evening. It is an opportunity where our boys can showcase the skills they have learnt throughout the year around respectful relationships, pro-social communication skills and social etiquette. This is obviously a school sanctioned event and students and their guest behaviour is expected to be in alignment with College policies. Parents will be required to collect their son and/or his guest if their behaviour is unsatisfactory. The details for the evening are listed below; however, if you have any further questions, please feel free to email me or your sons Head of House.
Date: Friday 1st November 2019– regular structured school day for all Year 10 students. Students should not be departing school early to attend appointments. They are required in classes.
Time: 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm. Please note students can start arriving from 6:10pm. Arrivals are to be a fuss free event and cars will need to drop students on the street outside the venue. There is no separate driveway or entrance for formal arrivals. No students will be allowed to leave the venue before 10:30pm when teacher duty of care ceases. All students will need to be collected at 10:30pm sharp from outside the club.
Venue: Eastlake Football Club – event room upstairs – 3 Oxley St, Canberra ACT 2603
Cost: $100 per ticket- Tickets are available online via our online payment system on the College website. Links, Online payment, select event from drop down box and enter family code. Alternatively, you can pay in person or via phone at the College front reception.
Please ensure that your son has paid for tickets, organised himself and his guest on a table with 8 other students (tables of 10 in total), and has submitted all dietary requirements for him and his guest to lijames@stedmunds.act.edu.au or tbrown@stedmunds.act.edu.au
