HOME Fundraiser

HOME in Queanbeyan Fundraiser

HOME HOME provides a long-term home for 20 people living with an enduring mental illness. Each resident lives in a self-contained unit in a safe, loving and non-institutional setting. HOME provides lunch each day cooked by volunteers. Residents come together to enjoy a meal, good conversation and friendship. We encourage residents to have active and fulfilling lives within their community.

HOME does not receive any recurrent government funding; once rents are received, a further $350,000+ p/a is required. St Edmund’s College has had a long standing relationship with HOME and will be supporting this organization as part of the Social Justice focus this term.

HOME is also hosting their annual Movie Night Fundraiser. Please see details below and come along to support the incredible work of HOME.

Join us for the HOME in Queanbeyan Movie Night, an annual fundraiser supporting a unique not-for-profit initiative in our community. This year, we’re featuring the heart warming film The Miracle Club, alongside a silent auction, food, and drinks. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet others in your community, learn more about HOME and show your support.

HOME is community owned and funded. By attending this event, you’re not just enjoying a movie night; you’re actively helping to create positive outcomes for people living with an enduring mental illness.

Your ticket includes drinks, food, and the movie. Come along from 6pm and enjoy a relaxing evening, celebrating and fundraising for HOME. All funds raised go to HOME in Queanbeyan
