On 5 March, St Clare’s College hosted the LEAD Student Conference for the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn. The event attracted over 300 senior students from all of the Catholic Secondary Schools from within the Archdiocese.
The day was filled with an array of presentations and workshops all aimed at forming and equipping the young people in attendance, allowing them to return to their schools fired up and ready for ministry within their respective communities. Students worked on developing their witness and testimonial skills, as well as how to use drama as a means to proclaim the good news of the Gospels. The day was finished off with the students being anointed and blessed, before being sent off to continue the wonderful and amazing work in their schools.
