Thursday Morning Mass in the Chapel
Every Thursday morning at 8.20am we have Mass in the Chapel. All are invited- students and families alike. We are so lucky to have Fr Chris Eaton celebrate every week with ue. If you would like to attend, please do – simply sign in at the front office when you arrive. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate in reaching out.
Expression of Interest: Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Senior students are invited to take part in something we have never done at St Edmund’s before. We are seeking a core group of young men who would dbe keen to be trained as extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist- this means, they are able to give communion to others at Mass. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our Church community and also is a leadership opportunity. We are blessed ot have Fr Chris Eaton as our Chaplain to run the training. Students who are interested must have made their First Holy Communion (if students have not made this sacrament but are keen, please email cwilson@sec.act.edu.au)
Students who are interested in participating in this training are to email Ms Wilson or come and have a chat in the Mission office.
Expressions of Interest: Altar Servers
Students of all ages are invited to take part in another new program and that is to be an altar server. This role involves assisting Fr Chris at school masses, year group masses or Thursday morning masses. Fr Chris will also be running this training. Students who are interested in participating in this training are to email Ms Wilson or come and have a chat in the Mission office.
