The St Edmund’s and St Clare’s combined band offers all the benefits of music education in a cost effective way to many young people.
This band program has been running for well over 25 years and amongst its alumni are musicians of world renown and adults successful in a wide range of careers. Students in the band are taught in a team environment which helps develop leadership, initiative and co-operation. They also make lifelong friendships while striving for excellence in what they love doing.

The College Community of St Edmund’s views the study of music as an essential part of each student’s development. The extension of this study through private tuition on an instrument or in voice is a welcome addition to activities of students during their time at the College.
